Meet our team

Empowering Students with Executive Function Skills in your home, virtually or both.

At Illuminos, we are more than just a tutoring service—we are your partners in helping your child achieve academic success. Our team is made up of passionate educators and mentors, each dedicated to empowering students through personalized coaching that focuses on building essential executive function skills not just for school but for life.

Who we are

At Illuminos, we specialize in Executive Function (EF) Coaching, helping students build essential skills like organization, time management, and self-advocacy. This foundation fosters confidence and independence, especially for students with learning differences, including those with multiple diagnoses.

Over the years, parents who’ve seen the transformative impact of our EF Coaching have asked us for support in other areas. In response, we’ve expanded our services to include personalized subject tutoring, test prep, college counseling, parent coaching, and mental health consulting.

We take a whole-family approach to ensure success for the student and peace of mind for parents. By tailoring strategies to each child’s unique strengths and challenges—and collaborating with parents and their support team—we create a cohesive plan that helps the entire family thrive. Whether it’s building academic skills, navigating the college process, or reducing stress at home, Illuminos is here to guide your family every step of the way.

Our Executive Function team

We believe every child’s journey to success is unique, and so are the coaches who guide them.

Our team is comprised of professional educators with varied backgrounds, experiences, and areas of expertise. This diversity allows us to match each student with a coach who not only understands their unique academic needs but also connects with them on a personal and culturally responsive level.

Our personal connection to the challenges many of our students face truly sets our team apart. Our coaches have firsthand experience with learning differences such as ADHD, Processing Delays, Math and Reading disabilities, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, and more, which gives them unique insights into the struggles these students encounter. This personal understanding, combined with professional expertise, allows us to offer empathetic and effective support.

Why we’re unique

At Illuminos, we understand the right match between coach and student can make all the difference.

Our coach selection process goes beyond just academic credentials; we carefully consider each student’s personality, specific needs, hobbies, teaching style preferences, and more to ensure a perfect fit. This personalized approach helps us build strong, trusting relationships that are key to unlocking each student’s potential.

From the moment your child joins Illuminos, your family becomes part of ours. Our onboarding process is designed to make every student feel supported and confident from day one. We work closely with your child to develop a customized coaching plan that addresses their specific needs and goals, ensuring they receive the guidance and encouragement necessary to succeed.

With a dedicated team, including our executive leadership, working together to support your child, Illuminos is committed to helping students build confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve lasting academic success.
